Show me what you've been doing!!

OK OK!! Calm yourselves my people! This is as much as we saw in Iceland.  :D But we did watch a very intriguing travel information video on Iceland while flying in, they are big on their spas and wool sweaters.
RANDOM SIDE NOTE: DO NOT CALL MOLLI'S PHONE!! SHE IS CHARGED FOR YOUR CALL AND ANY MESSAGE YOU LEAVE ON HER MACHINE. texting is fine, but she will be unable to respond. :) thank you!
Once we arrived in Paris we had our directions out and ready to tackle the bustling cobble stones streets in order to find Amy's apartment!

Palais de Tokoyo

we found the STUNNING Eifle Tower and took the only type of pictures that would suit our mood!

here are a few things we were able to see at the Louve: Winged Victory here

The Mona Lisa.... SO many people here to see this TINY portrait.  Both of us were almost unimpressed compared to the other works of art scattered throughout this ginormous palace!

a view of the Louve Pyramid at night

Notre Dame

A very "cheesy" dinner!

posing again with our cheese and Erik!

Another spectacular view of the Eifle Tower... of course, jumping! :)

A little tip of the hat to Idaho here in France.  Though we are positive they don't retrieve their potatoes from the potatoe state, it was fun to see something 'so familiar.'

  4. Oh my, I have an identical Tour Eiffel picture...haha, isn't it amazing?! You ladies are amazing and I'm tickled pink that you were able to hook up with Amy et Eric and see the city from their view and to have such nice accomodations! Amy as a host really knows how to make you feel amazing!

  5. Love the photos of you both jumping off the bench in front of le tour eiffel. It is indeed a beautiful structure. Did you climb to the top or take the elevator. When we were there, Ian and I wanted to take the stairs, but it was late in the evening and the only option was the elevator (which reminded me of Willie Wonka's glass elevator because it went sort of sideways for a while. Did you like Notre Dame? It put me under a spell in spite of all the tourists there. And the Louvre--I know what you mean about seeing so many people around the tiny Mona Lisa. There was a still life in some alcove there that postively took my breath away--and I don't even seek out still lifes. So happy you're having a wonderful time. It's so great you know someone there. It helps to feel at home in a foreign place. Paris is easy to love, I think. I found it a very human-sized city and not overwhelming. Thank you for the posts right off the bat. Looking forward to reading about your next experiences and the ones after that and . . . . Love you.
